About Stalin
Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili or as known as Joseph Stalin was born on 18 December 1879 in Gori, Georgia. Stalin grew up in diffident condition no different from other. (Joseph Stalin, n,d) However he never graduated, therefore he devoting his time to the rebelling against the Russian monarchy until the next 15 years as an activist. (Historic Figure, n,d)
At this point Stalin did not hold great power in the Bolshevik seizure of power in 1917, but he soon climb through the ranks of the party. (Joseph Stalin, n,d) In 1922, he was selected to be the general secretary of the Communist Party, which gave him control over arrangement around the country, thus allowing him to build up support. After Lenin's death in 1924 (Joseph Stalin, n,d) , Stalin elevated himself as Lenin's political successor and gradually overcoming his rivals. By the late 1920s, Stalin was officially became the dictator of the Soviet Union. (Joseph Stalin, n,d)
His goals were the economic growth of Soviet Union. Thus, he forced collectivization of agriculture costing millions of civilian lives, while his programme of rapid industrialization achieved with huge success in Soviet work rate and economic growth. 2. He had dogs who protected him and they acted as body guard 3. He uses this dogs to get rid of opposition 4. He killed every animal that were working with snowball 5. He controlled the farm with absolute power. 6. He make boxer work until boxer dies |

Stalin was one of the most powerful and violent dictators in history of mankind. As the supreme leader of the Soviet Union for 25 years. His policy caused the death of millions of people to stay in control. Similarly Orwell described the character of Napoleon best relates to Stalin. Napoleon was the most powerful pig/leader on the farm. Napoleon also use abuse of his power, the dogs or NKVD for Stalin. In addition Stalin transformed Soviet Union from a mostly agriculture society to a major world industrial power. While Napoleon's rule the farm became self sustain and industrial. Napoleon set up percentage of food for the animals, while giving more food to the pigs because they were the smartest animals. In addition like under Stalin's rule, the animals became more educated enough to read and write. Furthermore when Napoleon killed his competitor Snowball when he felt threaten his power were at risk, just like how Stalin ordered the exile of Leon Trotsky in fear of defeat. This showed how the author George Orwell used Napoleon to described Stalin cruelty and their similarity.
